A great way to use paint unexpectedly is to paint new hardware for your furniture! I painted this old oak dresser a while back with a creamy white. For a similar look, use MyColor™ inspired by Pantone “Seed Pearl”.

I removed all the old hardware, and filled the holes. I bought simple wooden 2″ knobs from Ace Hardware, and decided to paint them to match the beautiful bedding my client was using in the nursery this dresser was going in. Here is a photo of the bedding:
MyColor™ inspired by Pantone’s “Bruschetta” makes a great background color for the knobs, then using “Seed Pearl” along with “Friar Brown” makes up the whole pattern. Check out the “after” shot:
